Rescue
Through our Rescue Trust, the North West Golden Retriever Club provides a dedicated service for the
rescue and re-homing of goldens, so if for any reason your circumstances mean you need to re-home your
golden retriever, we will do our very best to find it a good home.
We have rescued over 100 golden retrievers in the last few years and we are pleased to say that not one
of them has had to be kennelled. They are collected and re-homed on the same day, going directly from
home to home, as our aim is to be sure there is as little stress as possible. Every golden is carefully
matched to their new owners, taking great care to find them a loving home where they will be cherished
and have companionship for most of the time.
Re-homing
Finding the right home for a rescued golden is our main concern and we take time through homechecks to
be sure that new owners can provide the love and care needed for the rest of their lives. Our dedicated care
for the breed means we are always looking for good homes for golden retrievers, especially older ones,
which for various reasons need re-homing.
Our dedication and care for the general wellbeing of golden retrievers continues after they have been
re-homed. Our rescue trust assists the new owners, especially for older goldens, with contributions towards
any vetenary medical costs that may occur in the future.
If you are looking for a golden retriever, or if circumstances now mean that you need to find a new home for
your golden, we are here to offer help. Also if you know someone who could help us in providing a good
home for one, please get in touch.

We have a tent and stall for the
Rescue Trust and spend most of
the summer attending the
various country shows raising
funds. Our stall display at
Longridge (pictured here) and
the monthly market in
Grimsargh are amongst those
that help us to yield hundreds for
Rescue.
Our stall display includes a
variety of household goods and
gifts and in addition to much
needed funds, it helps us to
make several useful contacts for
re-homing.
A stall display at the shows
could be an ideal outlet for your
craft work, so please get in
touch.
